Biked to work thru Central Park, beautiful fall day, all blue sky, sunshine and trees shedding their oranges and reds as they prepare for winter. Theyr'e getting the park ready for Sunday's epic New York Marathon. The city is booming and looks great.

All everyone is talking about is the other race, the one for the White House; that, and the incredible World Series.

Tell you the truth, I'll be ok with either team winning. I love the Cubbies, having been proudly associated with the Chicago-based Tribune Company from 1986-1998. But my beloved wife Erica is from Cleveland and I love that town too.

So Go Tribe!
