A Tale of Two Disses

What happened around Vice President-Elect Mike Pence's visit to "Hamilton" is hugely overblown. From folks in attendance, it is clear that Governor Pence was already out of the theater when the statement begging for unity and comity was read for the audience.

It is a highly charged political work of art in which contemporary political messages are interwoven into history by a superbly able multi-racial cast. Therefore, the message was in context and relevant.

The band Green Day, however, was much cruder when they mocked and slandered the President-Elect on the AMA Awards show last night. Putting Mr. Trump in the same context as the "racist, sexist KKK" is mean-spirited and a dumb ass cliche.
